INFORMATION
Many hours of special care and pride go into the creation of every
Custom Handmade Knife by Colin Cox. Only the finest steel and materials are used. Each
knife is 100% hand-made and
possesses individual characteristics and quality all its own.
 | The basic price of all knives
includes:
(1) 440-C stainless steel;
(2) Black, antique ivory, red or green micarta handle or natural
wood handle of bocote,
or coco bola, (3) Brass hilts
and/or butt cap;
(4) Standard leather sheath depending on the knife ordered (either a
pouch type or one
style with diagonal strap)

| All sheaths are hand-crafted and shaped to fit
each style knife. They are made of the finest oiled tanned
saddle leather. Sheaths are hand crafted by Byrd or
Sullivan Sheaths, both of Florida. Upon request, riveted
sheaths, waxed water proofing or exotic skinned panels sheaths
can be ordered for specific models.

Model 1 - "Sub-hilt Fighter" knife -- All
purpose knife designed by Colin in the 1980s with the unique
sub-hilt feature (same style as the widely known "Black
Widow," but without the scrimshaw); 5 1/2" or 7"
blade of 1/4" or 3/16" stock; handles 4 1/2" or
5" long; front guard and sub-hilt guards approx. 1"
apart serves as a sure finger grip; handle has a full metal
tang; handle made of beautiful, super-strong G10 fiber material.

B. Model
2 - "The Sting" -- Designed by Colin in the 1980s.
The multi-purpose blade can be used for survival, hunting or for
personal defense. The knife has a stout 5 1/2" blade
and is 10 1/4" overall; top cutting edge is approximately
3 1/2". It has a double guard and a full tapered tang
handle.

Commemorating Colin's 25th anniversary of knife making
D. Model 25 Trench Knife -- "Limited
Edition" series numbered 1 -250. Numbers will be
issued as ordered.
This 7 1/2" blade fighter is made of 440-C stainless
steel and was designed by Colin with a hump back shape and saw
on top. The blade is marked "Limited Edition 1980 -
2005" in commemoration of Colin's 25 years of knife making.
A military eagle, globe and anchor emblem is also included on
the same side. The knife is 14" overall. The
World War II style D-guard is made of solid brass and has nine
fighting spikes. It also has a skull crushing spike at the
tang end. The very attractive handle is made of ultra
durable black linen micarta with two brass spacers.
This knife is equipped with a durable double stitched
Sullivan C-sheath [see above left bottom picture].
For an additional charge of $50.00 the knife will come with a
special order military split-back riveted Model C-sheath with
the military style canteen snap. The military sheath comes
equipped with a two-tone gray sharpening stone (copy of 1960s
style) [see above right hand top picture].
This knife can be ordered with a full high polish blade and
D-guard for an additional $200.00.

Model 3 - "Game Skinner" -- This straight point
style blade was designed by Colin for all types of game--large
or small. It comes with a 3" or 4" blade with
4" or 4 1/4" handle. The blade is hollow
ground and is guaranteed to keep a sharp edge. It has a soldered
finger guard and tapered tang handle with a lanyard hole.

Model 4 - "Drop Point Hunter" -- This is one of
the most versatile blade designs. It comes in either a
3" or 4" blade with a 4 1/4" or 4 1/2"
handle. The blade is hollow ground. The top of the
blade in front of the handle is notched for sure thumb
placement. It has a full metal, tapered tang handle with
lanyard hole.

Model 5 -- "Small Game" knife -- This 3"
blade knife is perfect for all types of small game. The
knife is 7 1/2" long overall. The top of the
blade in front of the handle is notched for thumb place and it
has a forward finger groove to ensure a solid grip. This
little game knife is an extension of your hand and fits like a
glove. The full metal, tapered tang handle has a lanyard
hole.

Model 6 - "Bird & Trout" -- This style
knife is ideal for small game, bird or fishing use. The knife
has a 3 1/2" blade and is 8" overall. Just
behind the cutting edge of the blade is a specially designed
line cutter or bone breaker. The top of the blade in front of
the handle is notched for sure thumb placement. The tang of the
handle is tapered. The handle can be ordered with a one or
two piece handle (see picture). Model 5b has a special gut
hook on the top of the blade.

Model 7 -- "The Sportsman" -- design for all
outdoorsmen--great for camping, hunting and skinning any size
game. The blade is hollow ground and comes in a 4",
5" or 6" blade. The top of the blade in front of

tapered, full metal handle has a lanyard hole. The handle comes
in two sizes--4 1/2" or 4 3/4".

-- 1 7/8" wide 10 1/2" long blade; overall length 16
1/2"; sharp grind lines; functional saw teeth on top
of blade that can saw or slice through wood, bone or most any
material; standard double hilt of nickel silver which has a
unique design to serve as a protective guard while the knife is
being used for defense/offense or as a tool; handle cut from a
solid 303 stainless steel round bar; milled to receive tang of
blade which is custom sleeved and bolted and then soldered for a
solid, perfect fit; handle drilled out to make hollow
waterproof survival compartment for storage; handle and butt cap
